Ladies Nite Out was a whopping success! In just one night, nearly 1/3 of the $11,000.00 needed to ship the show and actors to Manhattan was raised. (See NOTE FROM WANZIE, below, for further details)

The total amount raised at the event was $3,507.00!

Everyone involved with LADIES OF EOLA HEIGHTS extend their gratitude to everyone who performed on Thursday night in the Eola Heights Follies. Thanks also go out to everyone who donated a prize or auction item, provided technical assistance, and to the dedicated volunteers who sacrificed seeing most of the entertainment in order to efficiently look after the box office, raffle and silent auction. Thanks to everyone who baked, or made custom items for the auction - or in the case of Marcy Singhaus and Margo Dixon - did both! Of course, thanks to Don & Susan and the Parliament House for their continued support and sponsorship as well as for the use of the theater, and to David Dorman for his continued sponsorship of Wanzie Presents shows, and for creating and donating the printing of the programs (as well as singing in the show)!

The LADIES also wish to thank all those who attended, and to welcome the new faces in the crowd, who are today, receiving their very first WANZeGRAM ... albeit late (we usually send it out on Friday ... but due to heavy drinking on Thursday evening, the producers of the GRAM  were in no position ... make that condition ...  to do so this week).

We at the offices of WANZIE.com/The WANZeGRAM are of the opinion that, other than an ill-prepared opening number (which brought into sharp focus the fact that Ruby, Opal, and Pearl should really leave the musical numbers to Miss Sammy - and that Miss Sammy should leave the dialogue to Ruby, Opal, and Pearl) the show and the entire evening was a thoroughly entertaining event, and a good time was had by all!

Once again, thanks to all who helped make this such a special night and to those who have continued to support all of our efforts throughout the years.
