PIGS WINS PATRON’S
PICK/MUST SEE SHOW OF YEAR
|
As reported by
Elizabeth Maupin: “Fringe head honcho Beth Marshall has announced
the
first of the Patrons' Pick awards, which go to the show that sells
the most tickets in each venue. Each winner gets to do one additional
show on Monday (which is Memorial Day, for those of you who are not
keeping up). In the orange venue -- surprise, surprise -- it'll
be
When Pigs Fly, which has lines stretching out the door practically to
Lake Rowena.”
Fringe Pick PIGS Showtime – Monday May 26th at 3:30PM
WHEN PIGS FLY is “The MUST SEE SHOW OF
THE
YEAR”
Don’t take our word for it. Take these:
“...
the best splash of Broadway to visit the Fringe
stage ever. It’s the must see show of the year!”
– Al
Pergante, Ink19.com
“Fantastic ... I was grinning
from ear to ear the
whole time!”
– Roni
Radner, Watermark editor
“The
entire cast was superb and David Lee, (one of my favorite Orlando
performing artists), never disappoints - I love him! The costumes
were
over-the-top masterpieces! I am so glad that of the few Fringe plays I
am able to see, that this was one of them.”
– JJ Wilcox
“I was impressed!”
– Drew
Sizemore, Front Desk Critic
PIG SPOTLIGHTS THE SAM SINGHAUS
PHOTO ALBUM!
|
Of Sam’s appearance in WHEN PIGS FLY, it has been said:
“There's
something about seeing Sam Singhaus dressed as the front end of a horse
or as an entire shower stall that one-ups any other kind of spectacle.
Now that's over the top.”
– Elizabeth Maupin, Orlando Sentinel
Remaining
performances:
Sunday, May 25th @ 2:40 PM
New Show Just Added for Patron’s Pick Day:
Monday, May 26th: 3:30 PM

WANZIE chatted it
up with fellow WANZeGRAM Subscribers and Fringe friends and colleagues
last weekend at the festival. The video is now available on
YouTube. All interviews
were conducted at the La Nouba Hospitality Tent, located on
"The Green Lawn of Fabulousness". There are two parts and both
are now
posted on the special WANZIE @ the
