June 25, July 2 and 16 at 9pm and one Saturday: July 5th at 8pm.

are best available in the category at the time you call. If attending on Friday at 9 PM,
you are encouraged to meet up with WANZIE and the gang on the outdoor
2nd floor balcony of Cirque, on the rail overlooking the House of Blues
- from 8:15 to 8:30PM. If you show up and introduce yourself as being
present for WANZIEandDOUG night, WANZIE will present you with a
fabulous gift! At 8:30 PM, the intrepid group will go inside to
purchase cocktails, and will hang, to the far left of the concession
stands, near the elevator, until just prior to showtime. After the
show, everyone will re-unite out on the balcony to move on together for
a nightcap.

DOUG WHITE’S WINNING ENTRY! |
Instead of choosing
between a prayer and a Dr. Seuss-like poem, Mr. White submitted this
contest-winning entry utilizing both options. It’s a Dr Seuss-like
prayer:
Little
Doug White bowed his head and did pray
He wanted to
go to La Nouba, in June, on the 27th day.
“Dear
Jesus Christ, Lord, God and Allah
Ishvara,
Skakti, Mohammed and Buddha
Shangdi,
Shen, Zhu and Tian
Jehovah, Aten
and even Bhagavan”
To be
sure he was heard both near and by far
He even
prayed to Malik and Ek Onkar
He
dreamed of the performers, the clowns and the mimes
And even the
transvestite, with a voice that just chimes
With bouncing
and flying and dancing and kicks
With juggling
and balancing and all kinds of tricks
He
pictured the trampoline, the lyra and the chiffon
Then thought
of the unicycle the midget rode on
How
delightful it would be, if to that big top he could go
And to hear
the announcement, “On with the show”
He
prayed and he prayed and he wished even more
So he entered
this contest, and his hopes they did soar
“Please let
them pick me” he thought hard in his head
“If Miss
Sammy can’t go, then I’ll go with Doug Bowser instead”
He
pleaded and pleaded with Wanzie to say
“You can come
with me, on that very special day”
“So Waheguru
and Adi Purusha and even Krishna
Mahabharata.
Trimurti, Satnam and Rama
Please
let them pick me and the verse that I write
I am so
looking forward to that extraordinary night.”
'Cause no one
likes a big top, like little Doug White.

Our Secret Panel of Sacred Judges was so impressed
with this next entry, they prevailed upon the Cirque people to cough up
another pair of tickets for this Friday night’s 9 PM performance.
Although these seats may not be in the VIP section, the tickets are
still valued at $138.00 and we think the folks at La Nouba are
just swell for making them available to our unanticipated 2nd place
winner. Congratulations to Jym from Tampa. We hope you will meet up
with us on the outside balcony prior to the show. Please send WANZIE
your legal name, under which you need to claim your tickets at the Will
Call Box Office window along with picture ID.

Row Mo’s
Cirque Du
Soleil it’s a wonderful show,
Cirque Du
Soleil we so want to go,
Front row, we
need to go, thought Myj and Nhoj a couple of mo’s
They didn’t
know how they might go till Wanzie offered two tics to the Show.
All sorts of
images popped into their heads,
Each night
while they lay snuggled up in their beds.
Amazing male
specimens on wings of red,
The
bare-chested strong man with a clean-shaven head.
Acrobats and
Aerialists way up in the sky,
Balancing
acts on chairs stacked so high.
On trapeze
above these Adonis’ do fly,
We had to get
tickets, we just had to try.
The athletic
ability of the awesome cast,
Leaving the
audience with breath holding gasps.
The musical
talent of the angelic voice
Made wanting
La Nouba their premiere choice.
No Elephants,
No Big Top, No Cotton Candy,
No Flash
Photography, No Pennants, that's fine and dandy,
No Lions, No
Tigers, No Lipizzaner Stallions,
Only the
highest caliber of performance Battalions
Myj and Nhoj
were hoping to be,
The luckiest
mo’s to be able to see,
The only
athletic, musical, performance play,
The Greatest
show in Orlando, "Cirque Du Soleil".
